The Western Australian Department of Commerce has selected ELO Digital Office to replace its legacy Objective EDRMS.
The Department of Commerce (WA DoC) Information Services has a stated commitment to deliver leading technology solutions to its clients by identifying, developing and operating value-creating IT business solutions across the Department.
Following an extensive tender process, the DoC selected ELO as the solution that could best deliver to the WA DoC’s goal to find a system that “is robust, intuitive and fully integrated to assist with streamlining the Department’s corporate records management cycle (Capture, Storage, Retrieval) and integration capabilities”.
“We believe that the DoC will receive much more than an Objective replacement” says Rainer Krause, ELO Australia’s Managing Director. “Our product will provide the capability to enhance business processes as well as adding mobility solutions. I think, that we were chosen not only because of what we have and what we do today, but also for what the WA DoC can do with ELO – today and tomorrow. We may become WA DoC’s platform way beyond Records Management.”
The agreement between ELO Australia and the WA DoC includes the delivery of software, all related implementation and training services as well as professional services to migrate millions of documents from Objective into ELO.
ELO’s user-friendly interface, the modern records management functionalities and its capacity to provide WA DoC with a technology that gives flexibility, self-sufficient administration and an open architecture secured positive reviews during the evaluation and comparison phase.
“We have proven that ELO’s team is capable of delivering compliant solutions at e.g. Greater Metropolitan Cemetery Trust (Melbourne) and others. WA DoC will benefit from our collaborative approach during analysis, implementation, rollout and production phases” adds Charles Lattuca, Key Account Manager ELO Australia. “Most importantly, WA DoC will be able to manage their system themselves. ELO has an open architecture that will save WA DoC time and money – now and in the future.”
ELO will deploy ELOenterprise, the award winning ECM solution. The project has commenced in January 2016.
This announcement is released on behalf of ELO Digital Office AU/NZ Pty Ltd and does not imply the expressed opinion of the WA Department of Commerce.
