Monash Health, one of the largest healthcare providers in Australia has chosen ELO Digital Office to replace its HP TRIM Records Management software. Monash Health employs more than 14,000 staff caring for around 1.344 million Victorians, its three emergency departments treat on average more than 180,000 patients.
Monash Health reviewed its situation to either change their current HP TRIM system to the newer version or go to market and evaluate alternative systems that will help Monash Health for many years to come.
The open tender process invited various respondents with a multitude of proposals. Following a strict selection process, Monash Health selected the Toshiba / ELO solution. The proposal included not only the “pure replacement” of the HP TRIM system but also a review of current processes, areas for process enhancements and a solution that goes beyond Records Management.
ELO’s open architecture allows Monash Health to administer the system self-sufficiently, develop and implement workflows without the need of expensive development as well as the capability to integrate with current and future 3rd party software packages.
The Toshiba / ELO solution was chosen because of its capabilities beyond the incumbent system. “Covering all aspects of VERS compliant Records Management was the foundation of our proposal. But when we reviewed the operating environment, the ever increasing needs in healthcare and financial pressure the industry has, it was clear that ELO was the perfect fit” comments Rainer Krause, Managing Director ELO Australia. “ELO is used by various entities that need a Records Management solution with the user in mind, a solution that enhances business processes, provides high ROI while maintaining the required compliance.”
Having been selected by WA Department of Commerce to replace their Objective system, Monash Health is the second very reputable entity to go with ELO rather than implementing a newer version from their current suppliers.
The agreement with Monash Health includes the delivery of software, implementation as well as required migration services.
Using ELOenterprise with its VERS compliant Records Management module will deliver an outcome on time and on budget. The project has commenced in January 2016
